ISCM 2018 in China: Australian works submitted
The Australian ISCM section's official submission for the 2018 ISCM World Music Days in Beijing, China (19-26 May 2018) has been lodged, and includes the following works:

Garden of fire for mezzo-soprano, percussion, and
piano

Raga for electric guitar and orchestra

Making signs for flute, clarinet, piano, violin, and
cello

Murphy:
Spinning top for piano trio
Margery
Smith:
Humanity washed ashore version for bass clarinet and
video
Congratulations to these composers on their selection. The festival will now consider which works it will select for inclusion in the festival program - at least one work from each official submission will be performed during the festival. AMC will relay the announcement of the program as soon as it has been made.
