ISCM World Music Days 2016 (Korea): Australian works submitted
The Australian ISCM Section's official submission for the 2016 ISCM World Music Days in Tongyeong, South Korea (9 March to 3 April 2016) includes the following works: Ecliptica for string quartet and freeze pedals (2013) by Amanda Cole; How dragonflies cross the ocean for string quartet (2011) by Melody Eötvös; Into the outer for 13 solo strings (2014) by Annie Hsieh; Fluvial by Matthias Schack-Arnott, Left, right, up, down, pogo for solo flute (2013) by Matthew Shlomowitz; and The land is healed: ban.garay! for SATB choir (2014) by Paul Stanhope. Curators for the selection were Cat Hope and Stephen Adams.
At least one work from each official submission will be performed during the festival.
