Work Overview
The Sunless Sea explores the idea of journeys and creating something idyllic from a voyage to a new place. It is a piece born from tonalities and techniques explored in workshops with choristers from the Leek and Kats-Chernin choirs. The work takes its inspiration from artworks depicting the natural landscapes of the Blue Mountains on display at the State Library.
