Lone Song : for solo trombone / Elizabeth Younan.
Library shelf no. 788.93/YOU 5 [Available for loan]
Work Overview
Another version of this piece is in the making for trombone and piano, titled "Love Song." Upon removing the semi-completed piano part and fleshing out the solo trombone to accommodate its removal, I was struck by the distinct character change. It no longer sounded like a love song, but rather, a lone song.
